Very good room size, welcoming staff, phoned me to recommend upgrade of room to accommodate 3 adults, arranged everything conveniently. Good access to English Institute of Sport.

The bed was comfy and room was a nice size. My partner who has some mobility problems was particularly pleased with the walk in shower.
There were a few hairs in the bathroom so it hadnt been cleaned thouroughly enough. We also thought we had paid prior to visiting the hotel only to find out we had to pay for our room on departure. We also felt the woman on the desk was quite rude in the way she spoke to us. We were also a bit dissapointed that there were no facilities nearby to get some food or even at the hotel as we had been to a concert and returned to the hotel around 10:30/11pm.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable with quality fittings and nice design. The air con is an added bonus. The staff were all polite and very helpful.
The Hotel is situated in a slightly unusual position and has new roads around it. Many sat nav won't pick up the postcode listed on the actual hotel site. I would suggest anyone wanting to stay should contact the Hotel directly and obtain the alternative post code they give you.Having stayed at the Hotel twice, the location appears easy to find now!!!

The Aston Hotel, Sheffield is a modern, clean hotel with a good restaurant, convenient for Sheffield, Rotherham and the Meadowhall shopping centre. It is easy to get to, just off the m1. Everything is good quality in the hotel and the Bar and Brasserie serves good food.
The hotel is not in a city centre or residential/shopping area. You will need to drive to shops and restaurants - keep this in mind if you prefer to be in walking distance of amenities.

The looking looking girl on the desk was very helpful and nice to talk to.We were made sandwiches after midnight and they were also lovely, and he put the TV on for us for a bit before we went up to our rooms.
Everything was good. Location wasn't central but a taxi was only a fiver or so.

The size of the rooms was good. there was space for 3 of us including an extra bed. The room was quiet and not too hot.
We were not too keen on the food- everything was spicy- whether it was meant to be or not. Also the spare bed was not very comfortable.

Easy to find location, great for accessing music venues in the centre, and Meadowhall also. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Would like use of a gym, but not an issue!

Close enough to the city but far enough away to provide quiet surroundings. Very clean and modern hotel.

Great value for money - fresh clean room and hotel generally. Staff were very friendly - particularly reception. Central location for motorpoint arena (we went to watch John Bishop) and taxi was under a tenner. Easy parking and reasonable bar prices - didn't sample menu though! Great stay - thanx x
